The Cosmos breathes an empty sigh,
A lone spark wafts around its tired halls.
Old, and older still, and the spark starts to dream of childish things.
Loneliness, it cries. So it becomes two in the space of one.
The spark, yes the spark, though now two, still just one, cannot fill these old old halls. So it divides again.
Now there is air, fire, water, lust. Now the spark is loud, but the halls are empty, and there is no air, so there is no sound.
The spark is tired of this. The spark can never be one again. The spark tried. It tried so hard.
The Cosmos breathes an empty sigh,
A lone spark wafts around its tired halls.
